What is a RealeLibrary?

A RealeLibrary (pronounced “Really Library”) is a web site maintained by a school, education project, community organization, or business that contains a library of RealeBooks for others to enjoy on the Internet. RealeLibraries contain organized collections of RealeBooks that have been contributed by children, families and others associated with the sponsoring organization. They often include a “blog” written by the owner of that RealeLibrary, articles of interest to the RealeLibrary’s audience, and links to related or interesting web sites. The owner-organization is the “head librarian”, responsible for accepting, selecting, and approving RealeBooks for their RealeLibrary. The RealeBooks on this web site come from many different RealeLibraries.

RealeWriter users may add RealeLibraries to RealeWriter’s Welcome Window. RealeBooks that appear in the Welcome Window can be downloaded, printed, enjoyed, and of course, revised from within RealeWriter.

How do we get our own RealeLibrary?

A RealeLibrary is a hosted web site service provided by RealeStudios. Purchasers of the RealeWriter Pro School Site License Bundle (USD $500) get a one year RealeLibrary hosting agreement with their site license. For businesses and organizations, the RealeWriter Pro Business Bundle (USD $750) includes a one year RealeLibrary hosting agreement.

Your RealeLibrary will have a realelibrary.com subdomain, such as “bosco.realelibrary.com”. While we handle the web hosting, you are responsible for approving RealeBooks, writing blog entries and articles, adding links, etc. Our initial setup training included with the bundles above will prepare you to be a successful and prolific RealeLibrary manager!

But we already have a web server!

That’s great! You can link your web site to your RealeLibrary and vice versa. We also have a neat feature which allows you to embed RealeBooks covers and readable RealeBooks on your web site. To nurture the RealeLibrary ecosystem, keep RealeLibraries compatible with RealeWriter, and bring them all together through this web site, we handle the hosting and maintenance of RealeLibraries on our own servers.
